Comprehensive Operations Planning Course in NRDC-GR

NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece, (NRDC-GR) conducted a two weeks Comprehensive Operations Planning Course in the Headquarters premises in “Pedion Areos Camp” in Thessaloniki, from the 6th to the 17th February 2017, under the auspices of NATO school Oberammergau (NSO).

The aim of the school was to train planners from all NRDC-GR branches in the full range of the Alliance’s core tasks, as set by the Strategic concept, collective defense, crisis management and cooperative security, focused mostly on Joint Operations according to the ongoing HQ transition to a Joint Task Force HQ, incorporating all aspects of the new global security challenges and the comprehensive approach.

The very demanding course highlighted the determination of NRDC-GR leadership to maximize the capabilities and the effectiveness of its personnel in the comprehensive operations planning process, in order to achieve the appropriate standards in the upcoming National evaluation this year and the Joint Evaluation the first semester of 2018.

The successful graduation of 50 participants from this high level course present in the best possible way the professionalism of both the National and International staff as well as their optimism and the excellent human relations established, both multipliers to the ongoing effort of the continuity of the past NRDC-GR HQ’s successes.
